RIP John Hughes

Ferris Bueller's Day Off has been my favourite movie since I was 14 or 15, and Pretty in Pink and The Breakfast Club would both be high up on my list as well, so I was very sad to learn of John Hughes' death yesterday. A Gen X legend, at least his legacy will live on in his brilliant 80s movies.

Beaver Awareness Program

So many questions.... Is it for boys? Girls? Beavers? Trees? Dams? What sort of awareness does the program offer? Is it theory or hands on?

Half meat, half tin.

I was going to make some comment about a Spam baby, but that would be suggesting there was meat in Spam.

Six things

I got tagged by AmyOops to list six things that make you happy, so here goes.

1. Animals. Dogs, cats, rats, elephants. Not fussy about species, but I love some quality animal time.

2. Sleeping in.

3. The Simpsons.

4. A good laugh, especially with friends.

5. Sascha, boyfriend extraordinaire.

6. PC Games - my addiction to lame games, either downloaded or on Facebook, knows no bounds.

I could add a few more, but there is my top six.

Now I tag Joanne, Fembotanist, and anyone else who feels like posting their answers in the comments.
