Why wear an undercap? Well . . . who knows! I once saw a TV prog (in the UK) about serious Star Trek fans, the ones who dress the parts. One guy explained how he used an article of ladies' hygiene pressed onto his head to help hold his Klingon scalp in place. The programme was reviewed in our "Sunday Times" by the brilliant, funny, infuriating A.A.Gill, who asked "What's the proper word for a man who wears a s******y t***l on his head?"
