I used to work with someone who thought this too. She was a very horsey, arrogant woman who thought every man who met her was in love with her. She started internet dating because she wanted to find a richer man than her current partner (she also sent her kids to two different private schools to increase her chances of finding a richer man). She told me how all these men were in love with her already because when she chatted to them they all said "lol" all the time and that means they love her. She was quite put out when I told her what it really meant.
