Casey Anthony Verdict




I just can't believe it.  One of the jurors is quoted as saying the prosecution didn't make their case beyond a reasonable doubt.  So a child murderer gets away with it.

Welcome to the American justice system. You don't need to prove your innocence, you just need to prove reasonable doubt. And yes, I think she did it.

Actually, I think the jury went for BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT instead... I viewed the same trial they did, and felt she should have been convicted on all counts. They basically let her walk. Shame.

And that's the reason that I'm still looking for that giant asteroid to come crashing down.... gotta love American lawyers....
