District 9
I saw this Friday night. Shot like a documentary, on hand held cameras, it is set in South Africa and essentially a movie about Apartheid, only involving humans versus aliens rather than whites versus blacks. I enjoyed it but I found it very intense. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to be persecuted, this movie gives you an excellent insight - a couple of scenes made me feel physically ill - not from gore, but from the way the aliens were being treated. Go and see it.
