Not only not very appetising, but I would think a bit chewy and not very filling either... I thought about that too much didn't I?
This reminds me of a mysterious tin that we had in the pantry for the whole of my childhood. It was a can of turtle soup. I think it was a gift to mum on her 21st - some kind of delicacy. Fortunately she never opened it.
