The joys of black and white TV.

My mind popped right along with you.

Information like this always makes me hold actors in awe and contempt at the same time.

I worked on a TV show set in the 1940's. We needed some authentic period money. The actors refused to use our (suitably and carefully altered) funny money. The paper didn't feel right. It took them right out of character. Oh, the trauma of working under such conditions!

It took us a miserable amount of time to find paper that came close enough for them to grudgingly accept.

And here a group of actors pretended to be ghouls (albeit, comedic ghouls) in a candy cane bordello.

Actors are unique creatures...

That's hilarious! I've heard some stories about actors being precious, but I don't think I could deal with that sort of nonsense. I'd struggle with the urge to slap them. Repeatedly.
